View from the footpath

Whitebait and Fraulein Dr Dr have just spent the last couple of days blatting around Devon and Cornwall. Checked out some beautiful Cornish fishing ports and even dropped into Padstow where TV chef Rick Stein seems to have set up his own food fiefdom (somewhat like Stefano di Piero in Mildura). Polpero was particularly excellent.

Also stopped in the very atmospheric and new agey township of Glastonbury on the way back to Bristol. Walking up the main street Whitebait almost jumped out of his shoes when looking into the window of an old English pub. Sitting on the back of a chair, doing the complete Linda Blair routine (a reference for you LH!), was a large owl (of the barn variety, I guess). How awesome!
